THOR Solutions is actively seeking a mid-level Videographer/Media Specialist to support the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL. The Specialist should possess experience working with video recording/editing and animation, as well as experience in planning, development, and delivery of media products. This individual will provide development of digital training media for Air Cushion Vehicles (ACVs). Typical Responsibilities: Take photos and videos of craft operation and maintenance activities. Use digital video editing and animation techniques. Participate in development and planning of the videos to include storyboarding and script writing. Produce other digital media in support of training. Location: Primary onsite at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) and/or the nearby THOR office in Panama City, FL. Some local flex/telework may be permitted as allowed by work duties and government approval. Travel: Up to 10% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations is anticipated. Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. Periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision. US Citizenship Required:Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, U.S. citizenship is required. Citizenship will be confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment. Existing Secret Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. Only candidates with existing full or interim Secret security clearances will be considered. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Associate degree in art, digital media, or a related discipline. Bachelor's degree in art, digital media, or a related discipline is preferred. At least one (1) year of recent, relevant professional experience with media development, including video recording/editing. Experience obtained in a US Navy/DoD environment is preferred. Proficiency with common productivity software including Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills.
