Job Description:

Adolfson and Peterson Construction is currently hiring for a Recruiter based out of our regional office in Aurora. The recruiter be accountable for recruiting and filling positions and ensure the hiring needs for the business are met. Be an active partner and collaborate with hiring managers across the organization to identify talent needs, develop and implement recruiting strategies to ensure positions are filled with the best talent. This position has two pay bands and incumbents are placed based on experience and knowledge, scope of independent decision making and range of impact their decisions and actions have on the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
  • Optimize effectiveness in our recruiting and hiring practices by sourcing, engaging and selecting candidates whose experiences, competencies and values are aligned with our business expectations.
  • Partner with hiring manager to understand the position(s), determine talent needs and develop unique recruiting strategies to meet the needs of various positions.
  • Responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates (internal and external) by video, phone or in person - ultimately presenting the top candidates to a hiring manager.
  • Facilitate the interview and offer process for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Deliver engaging and effective candidate experiences. Serve as an industry recruiting subject matter expert
  • Actively use all available recruiting sources, such as LinkedIn, Social Media, Indeed and other job boards, career fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and engage quality candidates.
  • Track, update, and coordinate all aspects of a candidate and requisition progress through the hiring process in Workday Recruiting Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • When necessary, manage and facilitate the process with external recruiters and agencies.
  • Create and present appropriate metrics to illustrate and share the results of recruitment activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a recruiter supporting all levels and functions of the business
  • Experience in A/E/C (Construction) Industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting sources.
  • Experience working with Workday Recruiting ATS preferred.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting passive candidates, building networks and pipelines of candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting process.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% to regional offices and corporate office in Minnesota.

Estimated Pay:

$72,000.00 - $120,000.00
