Summary of Job Description:

A Senior App Software Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex mobile applications, including overseeing the entire APP development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high-quality code while staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends;requiring a strong understanding of programming languages like Java, Swift, or Dart, Flutter, along with experience in mobile app architecture, database integration, and testing frameworks

You'll get a chance to:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable mobile app architectures for both iOS and Android platforms, considering future feature expansions and platform specific considerations.
  • Implements IS policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources.Collaborates with IS disciplines to ensure services meet company standards.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize app loading times, and implement efficient caching strategies to enhance user experience.
  • Responsible for specific production services, ensuring that they meet the agreed customer requirements for functionality, support, and service levels.
  • Maintains knowledge of developments in their service areas and incorporates new developments into the future services of the company.
  • Works with peers, business partners, offshore development, and vendors to build and maintain effective relationships and partnerships.

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
  • Experience with Flutter Framework
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P4: $108,500 - $152,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
