This is a remote position, candidates must be located in the US
The Performance Governance Senior Analyst will be a key player in supporting the Performance Governance workstream, working closely with Initiative Owners and the broader team to drive data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on conducting weekly root cause analysis of the top performance hotspots across national and regional levels, sizing the impact of initiatives, and preparing data for loading into Wave. This analyst will be critical in providing insights and support to leadership teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of performance challenges.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weekly root cause analysis for top 10-15 performance hotspots, both nationally and across five regions
  • Quantify the impact of performance initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely analysis
  • Prepare performance data for loading into Wave, ensuring data integrity and alignment with operational and financial metrics
  • Collaborate with senior leadership (SVPs, VPs, RVPs, Category GMs) to support data-driven decision making across initiatives
  • Pull and analyze performance data from multiple sources (e.g., retailer, Circana/Nelson, BBU internal) as needed to identify key drivers of performance issues
  • Prioritize requests and effectively manage workload given simultaneous demands from various stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of performance governance objectives
  • Support the performance governance team with ongoing data analysis and problem-solving to continuously improve operational outcomes

  • Comfort with handling large volumes of data and drawing meaningful insights to inform decision making
Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business related field, MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience, CPG preferred.
  • Comfortable leveraging data resources, tools, and building business models in MS Excel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines, well organized, analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with MS PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and be proficient in other analytical tools and data sources.
  • Experience working in a remote team setting under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relationship builder with excellent communication skills, empathy, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
