Videographer

HOURS: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm

REPORTS TO: Marketing Director - Digital

PAY: $45,000 salary + based on experience

WORK FROM HOME STATUS: Eligible

After a period of in-person training and time working onsite with your team, this role has the option to work remotely 1-2 days per week, depending on business needs. (Work from home is in WI only at this time). In general, the timeframe to start a work from home rotation tends to be 3-6 months. Note that there will be situations when the associate may choose or be asked to return onsite, which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance.

As a videographer, you'll be working closely with the videographer team to create product videos that promote the 4imprint brand and engage our customers.

Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

• Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
• Research, design and develop a diverse range of product videos to enhance the 4imprint brand.
• Attend and participate in creative and planning meetings.
• Collaborate with marketing department management to create concepts, scripts and storyboards.
• Schedule & direct internal team members in video and audio productions to ensure high-quality output.
• Source materials including stock imagery, photos, video clips and audio sources.
• Assist with various other duties such as advertisements, promotional videos, podcasts, radio ads, companywide updates, and training materials to be featured internally and online.
• Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
• Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.

You might be a fit for this position if you are:

• Skilled in all aspects of video production including script writing, lighting, video/audio production and editing.
• A project manager guru and able to meet project quality expectations and schedule commitments.
• Able to show demonstrable, working knowledge of production technology required to produce web-delivered videos of exceptional quality.
• Friendly, tactful and professional in your communications in person, on the phone and in e-mail.
• A multi-tasker who is ready to act in any situation.

Required education/skills/experience:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, film or a comparable combination of education/experience and/or training.
  1. Applicants with equivalent, relevant experience will also be considered.
• 2-5 years' experience of professional editing and video experience is preferred.
  1. Must be able to provide samples of your work and your involvement.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experienced in all aspects of the video post-production process - from ingesting footage following a shoot to exporting for final delivery.
