Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the team in our North Mankato Facility! Your Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Your Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding print products, pricing, order status, and services offered. Handle and resolve customer issues such as printing errors, incorrect orders, shipping problems, or delays in a prompt and professional manner. Assist customers with placing orders, including order details like quantity, and delivery timelines. Provide accurate price quotes for customers based on their specific print requirements (e.g., type of print, paper quality, volume, etc.). Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including the types of prints available (e.g., digital, offset, large format), materials, and finishes. Be knowledgeable about company processes, turnaround times, and policies. Upsell or cross-sell products and services based on customer needs, including offering additional print options, larger quantities, or custom solutions. Collect customer feedback and provide insights to improve the customer experience and service offerings. Work closely with the production and fulfillment teams to identify solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
You Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software. Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
