General Responsibilities: Provide overall behavioral supports to clients and staff working in the Georgia Mobile Crisis Support Program. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care, and treatment to individuals as required, respond immediately when dispatched on crisis responses, and be present to provide supervision to staff. Must be experienced and competent in profession and main any applicable license, training, or and certifications.

Job Responsibilities:
- 1.Serve as a member of the Mobile Crisis Team and assist in Crisis Support Home and Intensive Support services.
- 2. Provide documentation of the behavioral services provided.
- 3. Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.
- 4. Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
- 5. Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
- 6. Maintain quality outcome data.
- 7. Complete functional assessment.
- 8. Develop and implement BSP. Behavior Specialist will consult after discharge.
- 9. Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT, LSW Team Leader, and supervisor.
- 10. Modify BSP's as necessary.
- 11. Attend all agency, departmental, and client specific meetings as directed.
- 12. Attend client psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
- 13. Conduct direct support staff training on implementation if individual behavioral support plans and related data collection.
- 14. Supervises and assists in transport of individuals in crisis.
- 15. Supervises and reviews all incidents of physical intervention.
- 16. Maintain client confidentiality.
- 17. Assist LCSW in case management functions and discharge planning.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
- Minimum of 35 hours of training and education in behavior analysis and behavior supports.
- At least two years experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
- Must be computer literate
- Must be actively pursuing BCBA Certification
- BCBA must be obtained within 2 years of hire date in order to maintain employment.
