We're currently hiring for Experienced Full Time QC Locate Technicians in Denver, CO. The QC Locate Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of underground utility locating services. This position involves conducting quality control inspections of locate tickets and collaborating with field technicians, customers, and contractors to verify utility placements using advanced locating technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. By identifying discrepancies and providing constructive feedback, the QC Technician will help enhance team performance and uphold our reputation for excellence in utility locating. The QC tech will be responsible for training newly hired Locator Technicians and QC techs when necessary. Starting wage ranging from $24-$30/hour depending on experience. Must have at least 2-3 years of demonstrated locate experience. Collaborate with field technicians to verify the precise location of underground utilities using various locating technologies and methods. Conduct field audits and provide feedback to technicians to enhance locating techniques and accuracy. Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control findings and corrective actions in handheld devices or computer software. Train and mentor new technicians on quality control protocols and best practices. Assist in developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technology related to utility locating and quality assurance. Communicate effectively with customers and clients regarding quality control issues and recommendations. Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols in the field. Maintain and care for all Olameter PPE and equipment All other duties as assigned in accordance with specific project *Working Conditions and Hours:* Outdoor work environment Driving company vehicle to and from work sites Normal working hours are 7am - 5pm Monday through Friday; limited work hours on weekends except for periodic on-call duty and mass workloads *Knowledge and Abilities:* Successfully complete the company's training program and pass applicable written and field tests Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters Olameter is one of the largest meter servicing companies in North America with over 1,500 employees providing services in 30 states and provinces to over 300 utilities.
