Our Summer Internship Program puts you in the heart of one of the most strategic companies in the world. You will partner with multiple team members, collaborate with different departments, focus on specific projects, which you will support and even lead. Your expertise will help solve problems that may not even exist today. Our guidance and education throughout this journey will help build your confidence, expand your professional experiences and help improve your leadership skills. Our Program runs for approximately 13 weeks from the end of May to mid-August. Internships are paid and available for those seeking remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities.

How you'll make an impact:
  • synthesizing business performance, market trends, and delivering on improvements through specific project-based work.
  • Analyzing key business drivers such as CTA, LTV, and ROI across the commercial organization to recommend improvement in operations.
  • Build and improve forecasting models through the analysis of key internal and external trends.
  • Collaborate with line of business, corporate finance, and marketing to facilitate financial accountability
  • Assisting in the construction of KPIs to measure performance.
  • Actively lead internal projects that deliver strategic insights and recommendations to WEX leadership
  • Provide analytical rigor and bring strategic vision to key initiatives
  • Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with your respective business teams
  • Understand how your job is key to support the wider WEX's organization

Experience you will bring:

  • At a minimum, you should be a rising junior or senior, masters-level student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
  • Strong project management skills, including planning and execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
