Part-Time Internship Job Summary: TWO part-time internship opportunities will support effective communications between the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and various Criminal Justice System (CJS) partners. The Criminal Justice Liaison Interns will function as part of the Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) intake team, which completes initial assessments and links individuals to community-based behavioral health services. These interns will receive clinical supervision from licensed CARS staff members while gaining valuable clinical experiences. Interns will assist with transition planning services for in-custody individuals with behavioral health needs, help facilitate the transition from custody to community supports and resources, connect persons with mental health related illness to community-based agencies, and communicate with attorneys, families, and guardians.
