About the Role

Inventory Control Analysts manage and coordinate inventory management tasks, ensuring adequate levels of stock, and maintain records of the quantity, type, and value of the items that a company has in inventory. Maintains and leads the Cycle Count program and Physical Inventories.

What You Will Do

The SCM inventory control analyst is responsible for:

* Processing, monitoring, and analyzing inventory levels.

* Providing accurate reporting.

* Minimizing costs while maintaining product availability.

* Collecting inventory and sales data.

* Identifying and analyzing discrepancies.

* Developing and improving inventory control systems.

* Maintaining detailed records of transactions.

* Verifying inventory counts from company warehouses and stockrooms.

* Creating and maintaining detailed reports for management.

* Providing recommendations to improve inventory control and reduce costs.

What You Need

* Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information and processes

* Supply Chain Management certification is not necessary though strongly preferred

* High-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes

* Previous experience with supply chain processes strongly preferred

* Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes

* Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenge and needs to be addressed

* Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and implementing the best processes for inventory integrity

* Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs and priorities.

What is "Nice to Have"?

* Proven work experience as an inventory analyst or similar role

* Good understanding of supply chain procedures

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Travel

Occasional domestic may be required

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
