Dealer Customer Account Representative
The Dealer Customer Account Representative is responsible for the complete Loan Servicing of the National Dealer Services Floor Plan portfolio. The position will process daily disbursements, balance daily customer system transactions, vehicle collateral documents, process incoming auction house requests, participation settlements and responds to customer inquiries. In addition, Dealer Specialists will be responsible to identify risk by updating and adhering to all procedures and escalating issues with potential risk.
Position Responsibilities:
Dealer Floor Plan Servicing
- Maintains original collateral documents for all Dealer Operations customer dealer floor plan requests.
- Maintain Dealer Operations retention files to meet compliance and audit standards.
- Prepare and verify collateral documentation received from customer.
- Review and confirm availability of equity fund accounts and appropriately disposition.
- Initiate and confirm wire transfer requests complying with GFT procedures.
- Review collateral billing statements for accuracy.
- Filing and archive of collateral documents for all Dealer Floor Plan loans, including record retention for ILM standards.
- Perform collateral review of all loan requests to ensure adherence to approved Credit approval & National Dealer Services requirements.
- Perform all monetary transactions including advances, interest, principal and fee payments and appropriately post to the Wholesale Intelligence (Wi) system.
- Daily reconciliation of all monetary transactions processed to the Wholesale Intelligence (Wi) system.
- Monitor incoming customer and business unit correspondence request/inquiry and appropriately fulfill request.
- Perform department support activities, including supply orders, supplier invoices, filing and distribution of department mail.
Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all procedures, corporate policies, and establish Credit and Business Unit requirements.
- Follow Corporate Retention Policy.
- Daily review of exception queue and escalate.
- Generates and distributes Dealer Floor Plan loan exception reporting.
Customer Service
- Maintain and respond to customer requests; monitor group email boxes, answer 800# calls and fax requests for dealer customers, including resolution of issues.
- Support business units on inquiries and requests.
- Train Dealer Customers on DAS application for submission of transactions.
- Communication with internal departments to support the Dealer Floor plan services.
Position Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or 2 years of relevant experience
- 2 years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience
- 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or financial institution
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
