Your Mission: As a Clinical Outreach Specialist, you will be the reliable resource for behavioral health care, collaborating closely with treatment teams-both internally and externally-to ensure comprehensive care coordination. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the experience and outcomes for clients and their families.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the Stage for Success: Develop and execute quarterly and annual performance objectives tailored to your target market.

  • Build Key Relationships: Identify decision-makers in your market, reach out to establish meaningful connections, and document your impactful activities in our contact database.

  • Collaborate with a National Team: Work alongside a dynamic team of professionals committed to making a difference.

  • Engage Face-to-Face: Conduct in-person meetings with key decision-makers to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and forge community partnerships.

  • Strategically Plan Your Territory: Balance new and existing relationships through effective territory routing.

  • Represent Newport Healthcare: Plan and attend facility tours, professional weekends, events, and conferences to showcase our commitment to quality care.

  • Customize Your Presentations: Craft and deliver engaging presentations tailored to your audience's needs.

  • Be the First Point of Contact: Respond promptly to service and referral inquiries, guiding referring professionals and families from the initial call through admission, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.

  • Stay Connected: Participate in national calls, weekly team meetings, and quarterly field rides with the Senior Director of Clinical Outreach.

  • Manage Resources Wisely: Oversee expenses and company credit card tasks as directed by your supervisor.

  • Support Client Assessments: If you hold a current and valid license, assist with client assessments (note: you will not have the authority to clear clients for admission).

  • Embrace Additional Responsibilities: Be ready to take on other duties as assigned, contributing to our mission in various ways.

Newport Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Outreach Specialist who will be the trusted resource in their designated territory, building relationships and enhancing care coordination for adolescents and young adults.

Key Qualifications:
  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a closely related field OR a minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting or pharmaceuticals sales.
  • Communication Expertise:

    • Proven experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment.
  • Marketing Skills:

    • Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Customer-Focused Communication:

    • Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on enhancing the customer experience.
Territory Requirements: This position is located in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must live in territory.

As a Clinical Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for a designated territory. To effectively cover your assigned area, you must reside in or be in close proximity to your designated territory. This is essential to ensure that you can regularly spend time visiting your assigned locations without incurring excessive commute time or expenses.

  • Travel Commitment:

    • Regular travel to locations throughout your assigned territory is a job requirement. Permission for exceptions will generally not be granted unless in extenuating circumstances.
  • Relocation Policy:

    • If you plan to move out of the metropolitan area of your assigned territory, you must obtain written permission from your direct supervisor prior to making any changes.
