For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $26.75 per hour. Successful candidates earn an additional $2.00 per hour for an unrestricted CDL-A license as well as an additional $3.00 per hour for ASE certifications. Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; or 4 - 10 hours shifts with a rotation each week of Monday through Thursday or Tuesday - Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; overtime and weekends as needed. ** This is a union position covered through Teamsters Local 294 Union. ** Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs: * Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. Work Environment: * High School Graduate or equivalent. Knowledge in the following areas is required: Air Brakes, Air Suspension, Tires, Climate Control, Electrical Accessories on Trailers, Trailer/Reefer Preventative Maintenance.
