Summary

This position is responsible for serving as customer contact; coordinating timely customer shipments; creating packing slips, invoices, and ASN's; and checking customer portals within the assigned window times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Coordinating on-time customer shipments
  • Billing and creating timely ASN's
  • Checking customer portals within assigned window times
  • Serving as customer contact



Job Duties:



  • Customer Service to customers
  • EDI
  • Analysis release
  • Analysis including waterfall
  • Analysis for customer increase
  • Vendor Setup
  • I.T. tickets for EDI
  • Review and answer supplier questions
  • MRP
  • Setup and issues tracking of ocean and land shipments
  • Logistics setup and some negotiation
  • Scheduling when requested
  • Interaction with intercompany
  • Inventory analysis
  • Truck Scheduling
  • Reviewing supply and demand
  • Review Past Due and work with customers
  • Review supply agreement within guidelines for adjustments
  • Any other assignments

Work & Education Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of Shipping/Receiving experience



Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity to properly and safely manipulate tools and controls. This position requires frequent walking and standing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
