Outpatient Social Worker in Adolescent/Young Adult Primary Care Clinic
This 32-hour clinical social worker will be part of a large co-located mental health team providing a range of outpatient services to support our adolescent and young adult patients in an outpatient medical setting.

This Social Worker will be responsible for:

  • Providing psychosocial assessments and ongoing individual, group, and family psychotherapy primarily to our population with Medicaid insurance
  • Assisting patients with care coordination
  • Crisis intervention, stabilization, and support for patients in clinic
  • Providing resource information and referral
  • Offering psychoeducation and consultation on adolescent/young adult mental health to the multidisciplinary team
  • Assisting with projects related to Accountable Care Organization required measures (such as depression screening and follow up with patients)
  • Possibility of providing clinical supervision, assisting with program development and project oversight, opportunity to teach as faculty in the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health Fellowship program within the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine

To qualify, you must have:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work and LCSW required, or LICSW preferred.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Clinical mental health experience with children, adolescents and families
  • Bilingual/bicultural/diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaker a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Boston based human and community resources
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with access to private space to conduct clinical services and ability to come on site at least weekly
