Advantage Technical is teaming up with a cutting-edge company in the medical device industry to find a skilled Laser Technician. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced laser technology, ensuring precision and quality in the production of life-changing medical devices. Pay: $34.50/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Execute assigned project tasks to meet deliverables.
  • Contribute to design, testing, and process development.
  • Build prototypes and develop detailed test methods.
  • Conduct prototype and material testing with minimal guidance.
  • Create and refine test methods as needed.
  • Assist in procuring and qualifying new or modified test equipment.
  • Document and communicate test results to the technical team.
  • Use lasers to perform a variety of tasks in manufacturing, including cutting, marking, cleaning, welding, drilling, and texturing.


Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field with at least six years of relevant experience.
  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience working with laser technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience with fixturing and interpreting GD&T/technical drawings.
  • Strong skills in SolidWorks.
