Unique Skills:

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and Machine Learning principles.
  • Knowledge of Cloud compute platforms (AWS, Azure, etc) andtheir AI services.
  • Data science concepts, including statistical modeling and data visualization.
  • Understanding of alignment between business processess / objectives and technical solutions.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI implementations, especially with regards to Large Language Model tuning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 7 years experience in software development, with at least three years focused on AI and / or machine learning disciplines. A master's degree or PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field preferred. A master's degree may offset two years of software development experience, and a PhD may offset four years of software development experience. Other CCNA and MCP certification preferred. Position Purpose: The AI Development Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, software development, and system architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading AI projects from conception to deployment.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Design and develop scalable AI architectures and solutions .
  2. Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including data collection, model training, evaluation, and deployment .
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and integrate AI solutions into existing systems .
  4. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and methodologies .
  5. Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers .
  6. Ensure AI solutions are robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulations .
  7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members .
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems and processes .
  9. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maximize AI functionality and user experience .
  10. Establish and consult on best practices and standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix, and systems management .
  11. Assess usage and utilization trends to make appropriate design and implementation recommendations towards scaling architecture .
  12. Responsible for tasks related to the management and deployment of systems, methodologies, standards and processes that support AI / Machine Learning platforms .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
  1. Experience designing AI applications, and knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  2. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  3. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  5. Experience with natural language processing (NLP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  6. Knowledge of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  7. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
