Pharmacy Technician Fairfax VA Pay From: $26-$30 Per Hour MUST: The Pharmacy Tech should have the following: Licensed as a Pharmacy Tech in the state of Virginia 1+year of experience working in a healthcare facility 1+ year of experience preparing and mixing IV bags 1+year of experience compounding solutions Experience working with chemotherapy solutions preferred DUTIES: The Duties of the Pharmacy Tech include but are not limited to the following: Prepare and mix IV bags Compound medications and review labels in detail for accuracy Enter information regarding compounds into EMR Return and dispose medications properly Maintain and update inventory and store as required Calculate doses appropriately Advocate for patients and their safety Manage supplies for the preparation of IV bags Document detailed information in EMR Assist with preparing documentation Scan documents into EMR clinical research system Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
