About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Manager / Generalist to oversee the planning and execution of life science meetings, conferences, and other client programs. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of services while managing budgets, logistics, and compliance.
As Program Manager / Generalist you will
- Manage the end-to-end planning of life science meetings, ensuring timely service delivery and compliance with all requirements.
- Act as a consultative adviser to clients and internal planning teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff.
- Handle budgeting, attendee management, logistics, and final bill conciliation for meetings.
- Lead registration management and ensure all attendee data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor and maintain compliance management across all projects.
You're good at
- Building relationships with clients and suppliers while delivering excellent customer service.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Utilizing meeting technology tools and sourcing strategies effectively.
- Budget creation, management, and reconciliation for events.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving effectively in high-pressure situations.
- All aspects of meeting planning from website builds to registration, sourcing and event planning.
You might also have
- A College Degree (strongly preferred).
- Cvent experience (strongly preferred).
- Previous experience managing participant attendee processes for life science meetings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry and various destinations.
You should know
- This role is virtual operating on Eastern Standard Time
- Working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m ET with an hour lunch.
- Travel is required: 30% - 50% depending on client need (no more than 10 trips per year, up to five days at a time).
- The role requires adaptability to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Program Manager / Generalist is between $57,000 - $78,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
