What We DoResponsible for setting up and/or processing activities related to Special Products such as Adjustable Rate Mortgages, Servicemember Civil Relief Act, Operational Compliance, and other specialized products and servicing thereof. Provides support in planning related to establishing scalable Special Loan capabilities and improving the effectiveness of the department functions.
What You'll Do
- Provides a wide range of support within the Special Products operations.
- Performs activities associated with Adjustable Rate Mortgages and monitoring service delivery/productivity/quality standards and compliance to associated regulation and investor guidelines, including: ARM Plan Setup and daily/weekly index updates, ARM Loan Maintenance and Working Exception Reports, and ARM Audit and other ARM Duties as needed.
- Performs activities associated with the processing of Servicemember's Civil Relief Act (SCRA), including: responding to SCRA Requests or Tasks promptly; determining eligibility for benefits: begin, end and tail coverage dates and notifying customers accordingly; work reports to ensure accurate and timely processing; other SCRA responsibilities as needed.
- Creates and maintains department documentation, including but not limited to policies and procedures as directed.
- Adheres to regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.
- Processes and monitors department report requirements and workflow to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Supports additional servicing processes within the Special Products operations.
- Follows functional area's processes and procedures in daily activities, troubleshoots as needed and recommends suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations.
- Actively contributes to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives.
- Uses established procedures to perform assigned tasks. Work is routine
- Instructions may be detailed for new assignments
- No responsibility for the supervision of others
- Works under supervision applying established techniques, procedures or specific standards
- Work may be reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy
What You'll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- 2+ years of Special Loans experience working in a Mortgage Loan Servicing environment
- Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field
- Attention to detail and ability to understand complex transactions
- Results-oriented with a track record of delivering quantifiable results to the organization
- Understanding of Special Loans product and servicing scrutiny by regulators and compliance/risk implications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
Salary Range: $20.72 - $27.62 Hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
