Koch Methanol is seeking candidates to join our team for the Methanol Scheduler role. The Methanol Scheduler plays a vital role in coordinating and optimizing logistics for Koch Methanol's domestic and European position. This position is responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, including customers, commercial teams, terminals, and carriers. The scheduler ensures efficient and timely operations, compliance with exporting/importing formalities, and drives process improvements to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will possess knowledge and interest in the marine and land transport industry.

What You Will Do

* Marine Liaison:
* Act as the primary contact with customers to manage schedule needs, in-transit communication, and nominations.
* Collaborate with the commercial team to align scheduling with commercial strategies and provide market analysis and optimization recommendations.
* Represent KME in process discussions with other KAES capabilities.

* Terminal Coordination:
* Build and maintain positive relationships with terminals.
* Develop communication paths with key contacts at terminals and ensure effective communication.

* Carrier and Inventory Management:
* Coordinate with carriers, agents, and surveyors to send requirements and process carrier updates.
* Manage schedules, runouts, and execution for all terminals.
* Discuss inventory positions with terminals and optimize P&L.

* Compliance and Documentation:
* Lead compliance logistics, ensuring all export/import documentation is accurate and timely.
* Maintain communication with loading agents and other parties to verify final draft documents.

* Team Leadership and Culture:
* Foster a team-oriented culture, encourage knowledge sharing, and ensure backup development to support team members'' time off.

* Expectations and Performance Metrics:
* Ensure timely and complete shipments, measured by customer and commercial satisfaction.
* Drive culture and team mentality, measured by team feedback and morale.
* Achieve execution excellence with accurate data and scheduling, measured by terminal and back-office feedback.
* Lead timely issue resolution, engaging necessary parties and measured by feedback.
* Establish win-win customer relationships, measured by internal and external feedback.
* Prioritize tasks appropriately, maintaining a balance of urgency and feedback.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
* Experience in marine scheduling or logistics coordination
* Experience with marine logistics, compliance regulations, and export/import processes

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience with scheduling tools and platforms such as Salesforce
* Knowledge of market dynamics and commercial strategies in the chemical or methanol industry
* Experience with data analysis and reporting tools like Tableau
