Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This position is in the Business Risk & Control (BR&C) Advisory team supporting the business unit responsible for execution of the Allowance. The individual in this role will serve as a key risk advisor to stakeholders across the business unit on all risk-related activities, including but not limited to internal controls, issues management, and model management. Ideal candidate will have Large Financial Institution (LFI) experience gained through time spent in Finance, Credit, and/or Model units, and/or second and third-line functions overseeing them. Individual must have direct working knowledge of the processes, risks, and controls related to CECL. Prior Consulting experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, and/or Risk Management is beneficial. As a risk advisor and liaison to professionals supporting key Finance deliverables, this individual is expected to be resourceful and able to work cross-functionally to improve processes and the risk and control environment. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring the business unit is operating in alignment with enterprise guidance when executing on risk activities, including but not limited to core items like Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Issues Management, Model Risk Management, TPRM, and Business Continuity Planning. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk Preferred Area of Study: Finance or Risk Management - Advanced degree preferred Preferred Area of Experience: Project Management, Internal or External Consulting Preferred Qualifications:
License or Certification Type: CRCM, PMP, CERP, CAMS; ISACA CISA, ISACA CRISC a plus This job posting is expected to remain active for 45 days from the initial posting date listed above. The base pay for this position is generally between $155,000 and $190,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
