Job Overview:
Leading music licensing and publishing company is looking for a Synch Coordinator / Audio Catalog Specialist for a position based in Los Angeles. We're looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience working in music publishing, licensing, music supervision or a similar music industry role. The position is centered on managing our company's audio library using DISCO and other digital audio platforms. Job Responsibilities include: -Managing the synch department's audio catalog, managing metatags & organization for ingestion into the sync pitch platform -Liaising with songwriters, artists and their management to obtain music files and other materials -Design sync department e-blast mailers -Overseeing department internship program -Curating playlists from music publishing catalogs to support the sync marketing team's pitching to various projects across film/tv/advertising/video games. -Join and participate in various department and company creative meetings The ideal candidate: -Has at least 2 years' experience working in music publishing, licensing, or a similar full-time music industry job -Has experience with digital audio and using DISCO as well as iTunes and other Synch pitching platforms. -Has detailed knowledge in the basics of copyright, music publishing and music licensing protocols -Is an ambitious self-starter, passionate about film, TV, advertising, and the synch business in general -Has an incredible work ethic and is a serious multi-tasker!
