Hill International is seeking a Construction Manager in Irving, Texas

The Lease Construction Project Manager is a self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. They will have experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects and work independently to manage deadlines and support staff.


  • Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite
  • Manage construction deliverables and handoffs with the following Microsoft teams: E2E (End-to-End), Security (DCPS), Data Center Engineering (DCE), Data Center Operations (DC Ops), Site Selection and Acquisition (SSA), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
  • Manage lease providers and support-associated teams and partners in the delivery of RFS "Ready for Service" for each lease site location
  • Maintain the requirements stated in the lease agreement using best practices
  • Manage Lease Providers and associated internal partners to deliver RFS
  • Drive deployment of solutions that can be socialized globally across projects
  • Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as required
  • Apply influence, strategies and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions
  • Provide project single point of contact for project development and delivery
  • Coordinate meetings and activities of Lease Providers and internal SME
  • Attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, and report as necessary.
  • Report Project Progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly, or as required Provide weekly project status reporting to standards
  • Responsible for managing the construction process of achieving RFS
  • Work independently in support of the Project Team
  • Track lessons learned and identify improvements to share across groups
  • Ensure lease provider's compliance to lease agreement contract
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years experience in construction project management of Data Centers or Mission Critical Facilities OR equivalent experience

Preferred Attributes:

  • PMP certification
  • LEED certification Degrees and/or professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar experience
  • Construction Health & Safety Knowledge
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements
