The Corewell Health Greenville Hospital Emergency Department is in one of our community hospitals. Located approximately 45 minutes northeast of Grand Rapids, the Greenville ED services Montcalm County and surrounding counties. The Greenville ED sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. The patients range in age from newborns to the elderly, and the ED sees a wide variety of diagnoses and medical emergencies. The Greenville ED is a Level IV Trauma Center and is a certified Primary Stroke Center. We take immense pride in the Greenville ED's focus on patient experience and exceptional patient care to improve the health outcomes of the community we serve. Scope of work Assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service/ unit of the hospital. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the nursing service/unit. Additionally, Inpatient Supervisors may be required to fill-in for the hospital supervisor as needed. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: clinical support, unit based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, performance improvement, performance correction, and coaching and mentoring.
