Programmer Analyst

Justice Federal is seeking experienced, member-driven candidates for the position of Programmer Analyst.

This role is responsible for a variety of functions related to developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions to support the daily operations and growth of the credit union, with a focus on programming within the Symitar platform.

Key Job Functions:

• Writes efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and departments across the organization, troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, performs bug fixes, and implements enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
• Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments and vendors to ensure requirements, limitations, and updates are properly communicated, and deliverables are completed to meet organizational needs.
• Conducts testing and debugging of software applications, identifies and resolves issues, and ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of three to eight years of similar or related experience.

• A bachelor's degree, or completion of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Experience as a substitution for a degree may be considered.

• Experience with the Symitar core platform and its technologies is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
