JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technical business logic and be adept at working with various stakeholders. This role involves capturing business logic, workflows, and translating them into comprehensive business documents and flow diagrams. The candidate should be dynamic, adaptable, and capable of collaborating with application development and cloud computing teams. Experience in the healthcare domain, particularly in claims processing, is essential.

Job Roles and Responsibilities



  1. Conduct meetings with business stakeholders to gather and negotiate customer requirements, ensuring the project team can develop solutions that meet the customer's real needs.
  2. Manage multiple priorities, customer expectations, and relationships with all stakeholders, including offshore IST staff, while participating in agile ceremonies.
  3. Gather input from developers and other technical staff to determine project scope and provide effort estimates, ensuring alignment with agile methodologies.
  4. Work with the project team to develop cost-effective, customer-focused solutions, incorporating feedback from retrospectives.
  5. Conduct walkthroughs with applications development staff as a handoff from analysis to development in the project lifecycle, while maintaining necessary documentation.
  6. Collaborate with applications development staff during the technical design, programming, unit-testing, and implementation stages, supporting sprint execution.
  7. Coordinate changes to functional specifications during development and update them as required, ensuring continuous improvement within the team.
  8. Adapt to the dynamic nature of projects, adjusting plans and priorities as project progress and requirements evolve.
  9. Support customer training efforts for end users and staff members, incorporating best practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements, while adhering to agile best practices.


Job Scope:

The incumbent works under minimal direction, using independent judgment to identify issues, trends, and problems, recommend action plans, and evaluate results on projects that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. The work is varied and complex, requiring a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position involves working with internal and external sources to complete objectives, prioritizing the needs of customers when making decisions and action.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $105K to $115K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
