Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior/Manager Data Governance Engineer to help deliver large-scale digital transformation projects for a leading financial services client. In this role, you will develop data strategies, implement data governance frameworks/roadmaps, define Key Risk and Performance Indicators, and drive control implementation.

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with foundational knowledge of data governance and data quality.
  • Strong coding experience in Python and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to support data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in data governance and data management.
  • Proven experience in defining governance roadmaps, identifying Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and leading control implementation efforts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders on projects that develop data strategies and solutions.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements to drive effective data governance initiatives.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve alignment and consensus.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet, presentation, and dashboard tools, with a growth mindset and ability to quickly adapt to new tools and challenges.
  • A client-centric approach, with a commitment to delivering value through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Set Yourself Apart With:

  • Knowledge of consumer banking products, including credit cards and loans.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools such as Alloy, Panorama, and Alation.
  • Background in software engineering (not required but beneficial).
  • Exposure to ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Additional Information

On-Site Commitment: This role mandates on-site work at the client's Dallas, Texas office on a full-time basis.

Pay Range: USD 110,000-160,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location, level and specific skillset required for the work itself.
