Responsibilities
Join us in a dynamic role where you'll be the face of our company to customers and the voice of customers within our organization. Whether managing your own accounts and collaborating within a team, you'll have the opportunity to make a substantial impact. Account Manager-Aerospace Defense In this exciting position, you'll dive into various disciplines, such as:
- Sales: As a key player in our sales team, you'll be responsible for sparking sales opportunities within assigned the direct government and aerospace defense ecosystems. Your knack for identifying strategic partners to promote and resell our products will be pivotal.
- You'll champion our products and solutions, unveiling them to existing and potential customers while keeping them informed about our latest offerings.
- Crafting and refining lead generation plans will be part of your routine, ensuring a continuous stream of prospects. Cultivating customer relationships and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction will be at the heart of what you do.
This exciting role encompasses a blend of technical skills and proven sales experience
- Maintain and continue to develop additional sales opportunities within your customer base
- Grow Keysight's Market Share in New Mexico with a diverse set of customers
- Interface with DOE and DOD ecosystems and other key industries
- Proactively work to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries
- Grow your funnel intake, manage opportunities, and complex issues requiring leadership and coordination with various organizations within the company
- Continuously learn new products, applications, and technologies
- Develop and build long-term relationships and loyalty with customers
- Partner with local Solution partners
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
- 5-10+ years of applicable Sales/Account Management experience
- Familiarity with the DOE and DOD ecosystems
- Experience managing existing customers and cultivating new accounts
- Proven ability to develop deep strategic partnerships with customers
- Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements
- RF/Microwave is strongly preferred
- Successful candidates will have a passion for continuous learning and ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal team members.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills
- Effective presentation and problem-solving skills
- Based on customer requirements, must be a US Citizen and reside in New Mexico
- Limited overnight travel. Territory encompasses New Mexico and part of West Texas.
