Job Title:Specialty Banking Portfolio Manager Job Description:

Summary

This role will assist the RM team in onboarding new client relationships, recommending analysis structure, and helping with Salesforce engagement. In addition to identifying cross-selling and referring opportunities to other Bank solution partners, performing an annual client relationship review, assessing existing market and rate conditions, and regularly attending In-Market Events. Responsible for proactive management of Specialized Banking client deposit account relationships by periodically assessing and recommending comprehensive banking solutions to meet existing client needs, as well as delivering superior client service and support to retain and grow the portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the RM team with timely and accurate analysis of appropriate data, bank procedures, regulatory requirements, cross-selling deposits, treasury management, card services, and other bank services.

  • Deepening existing client relationships by developing product and treasury management solutions and by providing recommendations to other EB&T resources.

  • Act as a point of contact and assist in managing a portfolio of clients by performing periodic calls and reviews, assisting with service-related requests on daily account activity, solving complex customer questions, and, as necessary, assisting with daily transactions promptly.

  • Maintains a portfolio of existing clients while developing and executing a plan to meet individual and team sales objectives for the bank's various business lines.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank's treasury management products including but not limited to bank accounts, sweep accounts, ICS/CDARS, Integrated Payables, Lockbox payment processing, loans, credit cards, and other bank products.

  • Organize and maintain key client data in the bank's CRM system.

  • Along with the RM team, represent the bank and reinforce the application of proactive outreach, attend meetings, industry events, and team events to help support the specialized team's sales efforts.

  • Coordinate the onboarding process by working with the RM team, Operations, and other departments as necessary. Oversee the process to ensure the team's documents are consistent and accurately prepared.

  • Assist with any other daily job duties.

  • Participate in required training courses related to the job.

Qualifications

  • Superb people skills to work within a team environment and successfully develop and retain client relationships.

  • Proven ability to identify other client service needs including deposits, loans, and treasury management services.

  • Self-motivated to work independently and take ownership.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks within a day.

  • Superior analytical and decision making skills based on a thoughtful assessment of risk.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

  • This position requires use of sound business discretion, good judgment, and excellent problem solving skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of regulations, compliance standards, market trends, and products relating to the banking industry.

Education and/or Experience

  • 3-5 years of bank customer service, sales, or similarly related experience.
