About This Opportunity:
Vonage, operating as a subsidiary of Ericsson, is a global cloud communications leader, helping businesses accelerate their digital transformation. Our Communications Platform is fully programmable and allows for the integration of Video, Voice, Chat, Messaging and Verification into existing products, workflows and systems. Our fully programmable unified communications and contact center applications are built from the Vonage platform and enable companies to transform how they communicate and operate from the office or anywhere, providing enormous flexibility and ensuring business continuity. As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will spearhead a comprehensive brand lift initiative, developing and executing on a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing market share, brand awareness and driving revenue growth. You will be a key leader in building out the next growth phase, as we continue to scale a new network API category. We're looking for a strong marketing leader and compelling storyteller who can tell the customer-centric story as part of the evolving industry narrative. You will leverage relevant experience in developing and driving high-growth Cloud|SaaS brands via sophisticated and progressive brand marketing and GTM strategies, mobilizing the company with a player/coach approach. You will report directly to the CEO Niklas Heuveldop and work in close partnership with our Business Unit leaders and executive team to differentiate, position and evangelize the unique Vonage cloud communications platform. Each of our two business units have their own marketing function for Product and Demand Generation, therefore collaborating and supporting those will also be a key part of this role. Location of this role is flexible with a preference for a current Ericsson or Vonage business hub.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on brand awareness, market analysis, vertical strategies, plus, customer acquisition, in partnership with the Business Unit marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to craft and deliver consistent messaging across all channels, including website, digital assets, GTM partners, PR, analyst relations, and digital marketing.
- Establish robust analytics frameworks to measure and optimize the performance of all marketing initiatives, ensuring goals such as MQLs, pipeline impact, and customer engagement metrics are met or exceeded.
- Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and public engagements to enhance brand visibility and executive presence.
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to penetrate target markets deeply and effectively.
- Translate business objectives and market trends into a cohesive marketing strategy.
- Partner with Senior Leadership to ensure alignment on messaging, company mission, and thought leadership.
- Oversee multi-channel demand generation programs, including paid media, content marketing, social media, field marketing, and partner marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-department leaders to build employer branding and champion the company internally.
- Define and execute corporate events.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Establish Vonage as a thought leader through blogs, industry events, and speaking engagements.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership.
- A proven track record in developing global go-to-market strategies.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, offline media, and marketing technologies, including SEO, content marketing, social media, account-based marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Relevant experience in cloud communications and strategic business roles, particularly in SaaS growth.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience leading high-performing Teams. You will live and breath Vonage's leadership principles by creating clarity, developing people and driving results.
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Your Pay The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. * US - $280,000 - $350,000 STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus.
