They will support Customer Grid Edge (CGE) Organization with product strategy and support the development of solution requirements for the end-to-end AMI 2.0 platform. This role will also offer technical guidance in assessing AMI 2.0 technologies as SCE continues testing these products in both lab and field environments. In this position, the successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business and technical requirements, ensuring that solutions align with organizational needs. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in evaluating products to validate functionality, usability, and performance in accordance with AMI 2.0 business requirements and use cases. Desired Skills/Attributes The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise in next-generation Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), with a strong background in developing technical requirements and driving product innovation. Specialized knowledge in distributed edge computing and analytics within AMI meters, sensors, and related distribution apparatus is essential. Additionally, familiarity with emerging industry standards, including metering and communication protocols, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), and IoT platforms, is preferred. Experience with key specifications such as DLMS/COSEM, ANSI C12.1 series, OCPP, IEEE 2030.5, 3GPP communication, and Mesh networks is advantageous, with a demonstrated ability to apply these standards in practice. Wage Data Per State Requirements The salary range for this position is $207,916.80 - $259,896.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
