Description Position: Warehouse Supervisor, Mail Sorting Center Employee Type: Full-time Location: Aurora, IL Job Duties: The Supervisor will supervise employees at a Surface Transfer Center (STC) for the US Postal Service under contract with LGSTX Distribution Services, Inc. (LDS). Responsibilities will include the following: Ensures accurate, timely sorting of mail by employees Performs supervisory functions including staffing, personnel interviewing, selection, training, rewards/discipline, performance reviews, attendance, timekeeping and safety compliance Maintains effective communication regarding operational requirements to employees Responsible for operational policy communication and problem resolution Assists Manager and Shift Managers of STC as necessary Job Requirements: High School Diploma/GED At least 2 years of freight, logistics, distribution or warehouse operations supervisory experience Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills The ability to work in partnership with corporate LGSTX teams including Executive Management, Human Resources, Safety and Training.
