Job Summary:
University Housing is looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our Facilities team! As the Building Services Assistant Director, you'll lead and support a team of building supervisors overseeing the 2nd and 3rd shift building services operations in the Residence Halls, as well as the building services responsibilities of the Gordon Dining and Event Center at UW-Madison. You'll help foster a collaborative work environment and will support the building services team in critical project goals and daily operations. University Housing Facilities leadership work closely together to support the needs of our resident community and to ensure an excellent work environment for our staff. As part of the building services leadership team, you'll lead and support area staff, provide timely communications, share important updates with stakeholders, and provide your thoughts and expertise on day-to-day and long-term strategies. Responsibilities: Develops cleaning standards, maintains accurate records, hires, trains and develops custodial staff and/or supervisors, and maintains a comprehensive custodial program to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of institutional property.
