Job Summary

The Clinical Affairs Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Clinical Affairs Program in supporting clinical education and outreach efforts across all programs within the Marieb College of Health & Human Services (MCHHS). This position is responsible for program support and outreach, including event support and overseeing social media communications. The Clinical Affairs Specialist will assist with a variety of administrative, operational, and compliance-related tasks, while also contributing to the college's outreach efforts to enhance visibility and engagement with current and prospective students. students, and external partners.

Job Description

Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assists with clinical education support needs, including preceptor credentialing, student onboarding, background check processing, and compliance tracking.
  • Provides general support for clinical management software, ensuring accurate data entry and assisting faculty and students with software-related inquiries.
  • Helps maintain and organize clinical and internship affiliation contracts in a central database, ensuring accurate documentation and timely renewals.
  • Assists with data collection for accreditation, including tracking clinical placements and gathering necessary information for reporting.
  • Provides general administrative support for the Clinical Affairs office, including scheduling meetings, organizing materials, and assisting with report generation.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of MCHHS-sponsored outreach events, including open houses, informational sessions, and career fairs.
  • Supports the management of MCHHS social media accounts and webpages, creating and posting content related to clinical programs and events.
  • Assists in creating digital marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, and promotional content to engage prospective students.
  • Helps ensure effective communication with prospective students, alumni, and healthcare partners through email, social media, and other channels.
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments within MCHHS as needed.

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • This position requires a high school diploma and six years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects when numerous and competing demands are involved.
  • Ability to operate personal computers with proficiency and learn new applications and systems.
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
  • Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with staff, faculty, students, and the community in a service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, have a high standard of integrity, and be motivated to incorporate best practices into the organizational structure.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures consistently.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, draw valid conclusions, and/or develop appropriate alternatives where applicable.
