Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for an experienced Project Management Support Officer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals to support the county of San Diego. Candidates must be local to San Diego, CA, as this hybrid role which may require 1-2 days on-site each week. Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
Monitor, approve, and, if needed, challenge timecards submitted by contractors and employees daily.
- Review and approve invoices from contractor suppliers.
- Generate reports that capture the current state of projects on a weekly/monthly basis. Target audience of reports range from Peraton program leaders, account leaders and client.
- Generate billing files used to invoice Peraton client.
- Respond to client requests concerning embedded resources. This includes, but is not limited to,
- Adding embedded contractors.
- Managing current embedded contractors.
- Terminating embedded contractors when needed.
- Consult with embedded resources, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to support recruitment, hiring, training, and staffing decisions.
- Develop and maintain Operations Management procedures.
- Develop and maintain budgets related to embedded resources.
- Work with other Peraton entities to develop and maintain vendor purchase orders
- The ability to work independently, attempt to resolve issues and escalate as needed.

- Develop and maintain good relationships with contractor vendors
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience or a High School Diploma and 6+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project or program management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing staffing initiatives and workforce planning.
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition, resource management, or staffing operations, with the ability to effectively collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, ensuring alignment between business needs and staffing solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while effectively managing time and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, including administrative tasks and document management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to support reporting, presentations, and data analysis.
- Experience with ServiceNow for workflow automation, request management, and operational tracking.
- Familiarity with Beeline or other Vendor Management Systems (VMS) for contingent workforce management.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
