About the Role: Join Astrion and play a pivotal role in one of the nation's most vital government missions, supporting space-sensing technologies critical to national security. As our Chief Software Engineer Scrum Master, you'll become part of a dynamic team at the forefront of technology exploitation, facility management, and information technology innovation for the Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Sensing Directorate, Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Delta's (SNG) Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Tools, Applications, and Processing Laboratory (OPIR TAP Lab) and the Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF).

Your Impact: As the Chief Software Engineer Scrum Master, you will:

  • Organize, plan, and manage the workflow for highly specialized product teams at the OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF.
  • Identify and champion projects for effective tracking, reporting, and continual improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams within SSC/SNGT and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement meaningful work metrics and lead comprehensive analysis efforts.
  • Provide transparent, insightful reporting to government partners, directly influencing mission-critical outcomes.

What You Bring:

  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Intermediate or advanced certification and extensive practical expertise in Agile or equivalent project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
