The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking to hire an Admissions Counselor II to focus on assisting with the recruitment of undergraduate students to Perimeter College. This position will be based on the Dunwoody campus and will be responsible for planning and managing the daily operations, assisting student in-person, via virtual appointments, via email and phone. The Admissions Counselor II is responsible for campus visits and events programs, external recruitment visits to local high schools, attending off-campus recruitment events, hiring, training and supervising student assistants. This position is an integral part of providing customer service and assistance to prospective and current students in person and via virtual appointments. The Admissions Counselor II plans and executes information sessions and campus tours at our Perimeter College campuses. These efforts are instrumental in recruitment of new students for Perimeter College. The Admissions Counselor II is also responsible for receiving documents, application processing assistance, responding to questions/ concerns, and helping students throughout the admissions funnel. They also complete calling campaigns to students to assist with the yield process and beyond. This role assists and collaborates with the processing team to review academic and non-academic documents for the purpose of admission to Georgia State University and Perimeter College and reports to the Assistant Director of Customer Service.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Plan, create, prepare and implement daily campus events to increase enrollment at our Perimeter College campus

* Provide prospective applicants and families with expert counsel on the admissions process including academic program information and admissions requirements, financial aid and scholarship information through in-person and virtual appointments

* Monitor admitted student progress through customer relationship management system and their movement through financial aid, scholarship, advisement, registration and orientation processes

* Schedule campus visits from high schools and organizations and present admissions/application and information to small and large groups

* Plan and carryout off-campus visits to local high schools and attend recruitment/ yield events.

* Hire, train and supervise Student Assistants that help our prospective students and conduct campus tours.

* Assist and collaborate with processing team to review and process academic and non-academic documents for the purpose of admission, this includes the evaluation of high school transcripts, transfer credit process, and calculate cumulative GPA's to determine admissibility

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
