Position Overview
We are seeking 1 full-time CW-FIT Research Project Coordinator to expand the evidence-based CW-FIT intervention to rural schools by utilizing a CW-FIT Micro-credentialing program embedded in a Rural Coaching Model. Rural Coaches will be trained by CW-FIT Trainers and will then, in turn, train teachers. The research project focuses on implementing the rural coaching model in elementary & middle school classrooms to enhance classroom management and improve student's academic performance. The partners in the project will include 120 schools and 480 teachers across rural Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Arizona, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
The CW-FIT Research Project Coordinator requires strong organizational, communication, and management skills as evidenced in work experience. The position is at JGCP, located in downtown Kansas City, Kansas in the Children's Campus of Kansas City building: 444 Minnesota Ave, Suite 300, Kansas City, KS 66101. Reimbursement for travel in addition to salary. Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the background check. Continuation is contingent on satisfactory evaluation and available funding. This position will be a hybrid of on-site work and telework as deemed by supervisor at Juniper Gardens and LSI-KU Lawrence. Due to complex state employment laws, the University of Kansas may be unable to hire fully remote workers for this position outside of Kansas. Specifically, we cannot currently offer employment to candidates residing in the following states: California and Delaware.
