Overview

The Pricing Manager is responsible for overseeing the company strategy on domestic and International freight forwarding pricing, 3PL solutions design, and solutions implementation. The Manager will be responsible for RFI/RFQ development, domestic / International pricing administration and the successful and profitable implementation of company products. This role will support the executive team on operational process and KPI reporting. Role is required to perform complex analysis, develop innovative supply chain solutions, and implement these solutions on time and within budgeted expectations. Support the Global operations team in accomplishing its key financial, service, and quality objectives.


Responsibilities

    Direct the development and creation of competitive BIDS, RFQ/RFI and responses for potential business on the network assuring the attainment of the Company's budgeted revenues. Works collaboratively with sales to develop winning, long term pricing contracts.
  • Ensure profitability studies are prepared using the correct cost and financial information.
  • Analyze and develop value-added logistics solutions to increase revenue and penetration of key customer supply chains. Act as the logistics SME in support of the organization.
  • Implement and manage 3PL and transportation solutions at the highest level of Customer Experience. Develop standardization and best practices and effectively implement across AIT organization.
  • Manage staff to include recruitment, training, development and performance management.
  • Maintain all quote and RFQ documentation and insure quality controls in place on all pricing and tariff configurations.
  • Proactively manage and initiate contract review with corporate with proper lead times prior to expiration. Insure all pricing is contemporary with Company strategy and objectives.
  • Work out proposals for material recovery models which are presented to the customer
  • Manage the day-to-day reporting requirements and work activity for the pricing and analytic teams
  • Support Operations Director in managing and monitoring KPIs and optimization of network.
  • Work closely with operations and field stations to implement bids and utilize the proper carriers to maximize the benefits forecasted in the bid.
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

  • The wage range for this position is $75,175.87-$116,743.70 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience


Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Required) and
* Master's Degree Preferred in Finance/Engineering (Preferred)

Experience
* 5+ years of pricing and quoting experience in all Global Products (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Advanced knowledge of MS business suite High
* Demonstrated ability to understand estimates, accounting ledgers, spec sheets and pro forma financial statements. Ability to analyze and manage P&L. High
* Excellent math skills and accuracy in pricing by segment cost and roll up costs High
* Understand rates, ratios, percentages, gross and nets, sales markups, margins and related computations High
* Strong teamwork and communication skills in a Global Culture Medium
* Ability to build and explain complex spreadsheet models and logistics strategy to internal and external customers High
* Advanced Computer Skills Medium
