Responsibilities

As a member of the Communications team, the PR & Communications Manager will develop and execute communications strategies to strengthen Page's brand presence at local and regional levels. Working closely with regional office leaders, subject matter experts, and the firmwide Communications team, this individual will drive local storytelling, client events, media engagement, and industry partnerships to enhance awareness and business development efforts. Where appropriate, the PR & Communications Manager will work with Page offices in each region on an as-needed basis.

  • Develop and execute regional PR strategies to secure local and trade media coverage that elevates Page's expertise, projects, and impact in commercial real estate and the built environment
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and execute regional and local media relations strategies that support strategic project pursuits, positioning Page's expertise and project teams for high-visibility opportunities
  • Develop tailored PR plans for each regional office that align with Page's overall brand narrative, ensuring consistency in messaging while addressing local market opportunities and business goals
  • Partner with the firm's PR agency of record, where appropriate, to strategize and executive local PR strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local journalists, industry publications, and business media, proactively pitching stories and positioning Page's regional subject matter experts as thought leaders
  • Collaborate with office directors and thought leaders to identify compelling project stories, trend insights, and opportunities for earned media
  • Support Page's engagement in key industry organizations, events, and partnerships, securing speaking opportunities and sponsorships to enhance visibility
  • Ensure consistency and alignment between regional PR efforts and the firmwide Communications strategy, working closely with the national PR, social media, and marketing teams
  • Monitor and measure media coverage and PR efforts using analytics tools, tracking performance against key metrics
  • Manage crisis communications at the regional level, working in alignment with Page's national PR and leadership teams when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in journalism, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications, preferably in architecture, engineering, real estate, or professional services is required
  • Experience managing local industry events, partnerships, or sponsorships to enhance visibility is required
  • Experience with media monitoring tools such as Cision, Muck Rack, or Meltwater is required
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful media strategies, including pitching to journalists and securing earned media placements
  • Strong existing relationships with journalists in key regional markets preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate development industry and its leading organizations preferred
  • Ability to translate real estate development and land use topics into impactful communication strategies
  • Excellent writing, messaging, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical and design concepts into compelling narratives
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders, subject matter experts, and communications colleagues in a matrixed organization
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong project management skills
