About This Role

Medical internships at the Veterinary Health Center are post-DVM clinical programs. Interns work for 12 months in a variety of services. Primary Care - provide primary clinical service in the shelter medicine section under the supervision of senior clinicians. Interns rotate between medicine and surgery services with additional time spent in radiology, ophthalmology, oncology and anesthesia. Daytime primary emergency duty - provide daytime emergency care in ICU under the supervision of senior clinicians. Overnight emergency duty - Interns participate in after-hours emergency duty on a rotating basis.


Worksite Options:

This position is required to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • DVM or equivalent. Graduate of a College of Veterinary Medicine.


Other Requirements:
