Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Tax Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing tax expertise to business unit peers within Product Management, Marketing and Customer Support. About the role: As a Lead Tax Analyst, you will:
- Represent the team as a subject matter expert/project point person on projects and initiatives
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision of all processes and procedures for high quality content releases that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Develops and coaches team members
- Assigns and delegates work to staff
- Responsible for meeting assigned schedules and targets
- Participates in performance management process
- Participates in process improvement initiatives
- Communicate and discuss tax concepts with tax professionals as well as non-tax professionals functioning as an indirect tax adviser internally and externally
- Lead content projects; planning and estimates, resourcing, detailed design requirements, implementation, and rigorous quality assurance; assign tasks, track, and monitor progress, report status
- Provide tax expertise to business unit peers within Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support

About You: You are a fit for this role of Lead Tax Analyst, if your background includes:
- 6+ years of indirect tax experience; 4+ years tax calculation and compliance software experience
- Some experience leading teams
- Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of Indirect Tax rules and regulations that impact tax calculation and compliance; Deep tax analytical skills with the ability to determine the accurate tax decision with appropriate legal support
- Ability to handle complex tax content projects in a multi-tasking environment, perform research, meet strict content deadlines and budgets
- Experience working closely with customer support, development, and product management to meet and exceed the needs of a specific customer, group of customers or all customers
- Ability to put the customer at the center of content activities and decision-making, from supporting a tax jurisdiction legislation change to content implementation and delivery
- Written and spoken fluency in English
Desired Skills:
- Sales and Use, 1040, 1120, or 1065 tax return preparation experience preferred
- An understanding of how customers use ONESOURCE offerings and the impact of decisions on the customer's tax compliance
- Problem-solver, highly creative and able to think innovatively to propose alternative content implementation solutions to resolve complex tax problems
- Fluency in languages other than English
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance is required
- JD, LLM, MBA or CPA/Chartered Tax Adviser is a plus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
