Position Summary:

The Marketplace Business Developer is responsible for recruiting marketplace vendors, onboarding them and driving sales through different marketing verticals as well as using a MP scorecard to keep vendors on track to meet agreed upon goals.

Benco is passionately focused on building 'Dentist's One Stop Shop' an all-in-one marketplace that allows a dental office and/or lab to order everything they need for their practice.

Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?




  • Ability to identify and work with 3rd party vendors to identify new sales opportunities, develop promotional programs, and create monthly/quarterly/annual advertising campaigns.



  • Ability to gather both internal and external data to gain insights for opportunities to grow market share and improve value to dentist and vendors.



  • Ability to communicate and possess highly effective presentation skills to both internal and external audiences.



  • Able to leverage technology to present product line in the most positive and beneficial light.



  • Familiar with agile and other product methodologies.



  • Comfortable with constant change, building and iterating processes regularly.



  • The ability to manage priorities to effectively drive a business when everything is an opportunity.



  • Experience with e-com data and content that powers a site experience and drives conversion



  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills




Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?




  • Recruit and on-board Marketplace vendors



  • Broadly manages the quality of the product catalog and the resulting customer experience



  • Integrates the marketplace offers within the traffic acquisition strategy of the site (SEO, SEM, social media) alongside marketing



  • Drive business analysis and recommendations to improve the business



  • Create reports both internally and externally to monitor growth and key metrics, providing visibility to management and sales.



  • Develop SLA's (service level agreements) for 3rd party vendors who participate on our marketplace




Do YOU Meet These Requirements?




  • Bachelors degree in Business or something similar



  • 1-3 years experience with making data-driven decisions, organizational agility and cross-functional collaboration required
