YOUR IMPACT

As a Hiring Strategy Associate within Goldman Sachs Marcus Shared Services, you will play a critical role in process improvements and staffing needs for a key business line within Marcus. The Hiring Strategy team is responsible for maintaining transparency on the hiring process and implementing process improvements in hiring to support the business's growth targets. Hiring Strategy works closely with Finance partners, business leaders, and HCM partners to understand and communicate hiring progress. Hiring Strategy is integral in ensuring that the Marcus businesses are optimally staffed to provide excellent service to customers while balancing costs. We have a fast-paced, results driven culture and are looking for an individual with an analytical mindset who can become a subject matter expert to manage hiring for a business line within Marcus.

Responsibilities



  • Analyze hiring processes to find areas of improvement
  • Data analysis and tracking; Analyze recruiting metrics and track roles as they progress towards hire (excel, smartsheets)
  • Partner with business leaders and partners to ensure key service level targets are met across functions
  • Partner with other internal stakeholders such as training teams and recruiting to balance staffing against requirements
  • Own recruiting update meetings and communications with business parters regarding their hiring targets
  • Partner with business stakeholders to proactively identify Hiring Strategy related improvement opportunities and drive relevant initiatives.


Basic Qualifications



  • 3-5 years experience in HR, recruiting or people operations.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills to identify analysis needs
  • Demonstrated communication skills and techniques within a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience developing action plans to improve business processes
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships while leading critical business projects
  • Willingness to manage and be the front face of the team
  • Ability to use data to tell the story necessary to influence leaders toward the optimal solutions for the business
  • Flexibility to use similar skills in report creation, tool development etc.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in banking/ financial services
  • Experience with MS Excel, Smartsheet or any other project management/ analysis tools
  • Experience advising and communicating with all levels of leadership in a consultative and data led manner.
