QA Test Lead - Healthcare (Facets)

Location: Oakland, CA

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

Over 7+ years of IT experience focused on QA software testing preferably in a Healthcare domain.

Good knowledge of backend SQL querying skills writing different complex JOINS

Able to perform testing for Restful API Services using Soap or other tools

Expertise in Electronic Data Interchange transactions and ETL load using SSIS Packages

Have worked on Facets Membership, Claims, provider, accumulator, Commissions, Billing, Customer Service modules

Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Implement Agile methodologies to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

Conduct thorough testing of Facets Claims and Billing modules to identify and resolve defects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead an overall 6-8-member quality engineering team by mentoring the team and ensure all products delivered meet the quality standards.

Performed Quality Engineering services for Web Services using SOAP UI, RESTFUL services.

Strong Facets knowledge across Member Enrollment, Billing, Claims and Finance Modules of Facets

Good knowledge of backend SQL querying skills writing different complex JOINS

Able to perform testing for Restful API Services using Soap or other tools

Design and build different automation test scenarios. Collaborate with developers and functional testing team on technical implementation

Masters in using different applications like Member portal, Provider portal, MEET, TIDAL, Edifecs Transaction Manager, CCM, Elastic search, Netezza, Info View, CDM, PUTTY, Ultra Edit, MS Office, GRID, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), Environment Utility, WinSCP, Benefit focus.

Actively support Quality Engineering and Dev Ops practices during all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$53,477 - $92,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
