Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $19.45 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Machine Operator at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate production equipment, including hoists and forklifts. - Load and unload products from machines. - Observe machine operations, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments. - Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace. Machine Operator Requirements: - Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently throughout shift. - Stand for 8-12 hours per shift. - Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling. - Work in a loud, hot environment. - Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. - Ability to read blueprints. - Ability to follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors. quincy@qpsemployment.com IND118 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
