Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
expert knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) and a strong understanding of
Quality Assurance (QA) and
Quality Control (QC) concepts. This role involves applying
Lean Quality principles, overseeing quality processes, and ensuring
compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards. The Senior QA Analyst will also collaborate with production personnel to guide quality practices and
track defects through closure.
Responsibilities
Apply expert-level knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) to conduct and support quality assurance activities.
Oversee and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control concepts throughout the production lifecycle.
Utilize Lean Quality principles to streamline processes and promote continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and its integration into production processes.
Provide guidance and instruction to production personnel on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with teams to enhance quality processes and ensure consistent application across production activities.
Participate in and support quality audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Document defects accurately, including detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce issues.
Track and manage defects to closure, ensuring proper resolution and validation.
Assist in the preparation of quality reports and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.
Education and Experience
- 5 years of experience.
- A degree in a related field.
Required Skills
Expert knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) and its role in quality assurance processes.
Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control concepts.
Familiarity with Lean Quality principles and their application in production environments.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and their role in organizational processes.
Ability to provide guidance and instruction to production personnel on quality standards.
Experience with quality processes and their integration into production workflows.
Understanding of quality systems and their relationship to auditing practices.
Skilled in documenting defects and effectively tracking them to closure.
