Job Summary

As a participant in the Sorenson Internship Opportunity Program you will leverage your training and certification as part of a working team. You will do work that is critical to the success of the organization. A manager will guide, mentor and teach you some of the critical elements of your chosen career pathway. You will establish learning objectives that you will pursue as part of your work at Sorenson.

Experience/Education/Additional Info

Education: Certifications, Technical College, Trade School or currently attending college or recently graduated.

Duration: up to 6 months

Office Environment: 100% Remote

Pay: Between $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience, Education, & Location)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Support project managers with day-to-day management and oversight of project duties, from assisting with project documentation to other project deliverables.
  • Work with Product Managers to talk to stakeholders including potential customers.
  • Conduct surveys, and research, as needed around market fit, etc.
  • Participate in the creation of backlog items and acceptance criteria with stakeholders using Jira
  • Train as a scrum master to the project team by running daily stand-up meetings and initiating and managing sprint event activities.
  • Work with the teams to identify and remove impediments.
  • Assist with the generation of project key performance indicators (KPIs) and status reports.
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings, as required.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not manage employees.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements



  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
